An antique and very rare rug woven by the 'Hazzour' (Aramaic for Red Apple) weavers, situated in a village on the outskirts of Hamma, in West Syria. This stunning piece is woven in wool on a wool foundation, unusually with a two-dates inscription - Hijritic: 1333 and Gregorian: 1915.
