A very fine and stunning antique and rare Aleppo 'Armenian' Carpet, woven in soft, silky wool on a cotton foundation, in a 'Kashan' design, and embellished with Arabic calligraphy cartouche depicting in Arabic the weaver's signature and affirmation of weave translates as: 'This carpet is woven with the finest of dyes and intricately designed and woven by Mr Hindi' - positioned at the top end of the weaving.
